[Mackenzie-film 1]

Film is comprised of compiled footage likely taken on the Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories. Much of the footage is from the vantage point of being on the water. There are shots of many barges and boats (some flying the HBC flag), transporting goods such as livestock and horses. The second part of the film is comprised of footage that features birds, eggs in ground nests, and a large owl. There is what can be assumed to be a field camp pictured.

[Mackenzie - film 2]

Film is comprised of compiled footage from a Mackenzie River research trip. Much of the footage is from the vantage point of the water interspersed with images of flora on the shores. There are images of a large paddle boat arriving in a community comprised of many white buildings (HBC post?) and then excursions in smaller motorized canoes. There are visuals of Vero Wynne Edwards driving one of these smaller boats. There is also footage of American military trucks and personnel towards the end of the film.
