Scope and content
Film is comprised of compiled footage likely taken on the Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories. Much of the footage is from the vantage point of being on the water. There are shots of many barges and boats (some flying the HBC flag), transporting goods such as livestock and horses. The second part of the film is comprised of footage that features birds, eggs in ground nests, and a large owl. There is what can be assumed to be a field camp pictured.
