Items are photographs cut from a photo album showing members of the 2nd Battalion, No. 2 Company, No. 8 Platoon that were commanded by Capt. George Taylor Richardson when he was killed in action during World War I.
Item is an image of Lake Ontario and the Niagara Penninsula taken from Earth orbit. The following is written on the verso: "Photograph of Lake Ontario taken aboard Space Shuttle Discovery Mission STS-96 Assembly Flight 2A.1 International Space Station 27 May-6 June 1999 by Julie Payette."
Item is a photo album with numerous b&w photographs attached inside. About halfway through the album, there begins multiple pages of photographs around Queen's University: of students and buildings etc. It can be surmised that this photo album belonged to a female student from the graduating class around 1945, as there are faint dates written in pencil on some of the pages.
Fonds consists of two sous-fonds, that of Margaret Elizabeth Phipps-Walker and that of Edward Phipps-Walker. The Edward Phipps-Walker sous-fonds consists of textual material, including a "Guest Register" for a motel in Gananoque, Ontario; photographs; audio tapes. They detail the man's life from his school days in England to his death at the age of 71 in Kingston. A very important part of these records document his business activities. Most of these activities were closely related to his role as Habour Master for the Port of Kingston. The Margaret Elizabeth sous-fonds consists of textual material and photographs detailing a good deal of her public career in Kingston, with a strong focus on her work with the Association of Women Electors. There is also a good deal of personal material such as letters and diaries.
The fonds consists of screenplays, novels and scripts for television episodes written by Hersch over a twenty-five year period. While some of this material was produced, or published, the majority of it was not. Of particular note are the screenplay for Patman and drafts of various Wojeck episodes. Also included is a small amount of personal material such as correspondence, financial details of two or three projects and records pertaining to Hersch's housing and medical bills. The fonds has been divided into three series: Screenplay/Novel ideas, TV episodes and Personal.
This fonds consists of negatives, slides, photographs, film reels, and videocassettes of various events and organizations in the Kingston area including the opening of the Queen's University Biological Station at Lake Opinicon, Ontario (1946), and the Institute of Psychotherapy (1958); the Kingston Centennial parade and other associated celebrations (1946). Also included are photographs of the Queen's University Biological Station (1947-1948); various Queen's University drama productions; and publicity shots for the local Chapter of the Canadian and Ontario Cancer Societies (1946-1957).
