The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, news clippings, speeches and scrapbooks of the debates of the Saskatchewan Legislature, 1917-1926. The papers contain a record of Mr. Dunning's career from the time of his entry into politics in 1912 until the late 1950's. The microfilm material reflects the original material held by the Archives of Saskatchewan and pertains to Dunning's activities as Provincial Cabinet Minister and Premier of Saskatchewan. The political aspect is dominant until 1940 and after that, with his retirement from politics, his business interests take precedence.

This fonds contains the following series: Correspondence (1973-1999), Translations (1987-1993), Articles and Features (1961-2001), Anthologies (1975-1995) and Projects (1975-2006).

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, typescripts of books, essays, galley proofs, news clippings, broadcast scripts, subject files, lectures, photographs and sound recordings. Dr. Whalley is the author of several books and many essays and articles. Most are represented here by working drafts, final copies and many by the final published version. Correspondence dealing with each topic and publication is also included. Another aspect of Dr. Whalley's career, broadcasting, is well represented in the papers. Dr. Whalley authored many scripts for radio and television. Drafts of scripts, revisions and correspondence with producers follow each work through from inception to reviews. There is also documentation of the 1939 Cambridge polar expedition as well as some personal material documenting Whalley's relationship with his family. The fonds was arranged by the donor into the following series: Books; Essays and articles; Broadcasts; Poetry and early imaginative writing; Professional papers, reports; Professional correspondence; and Personal material.

Margaret Sharp Angus fonds

The fonds consists of material predominantly from the period 1960-2000. They are a record of Dr. Angus' many and varied interests over the years and include her work as a playwrite, historian, architectural preservationist and genealogist. Apart from the genealogical material there are no personal papers here. Included with this fonds is a very nearly complete set of the minutes of Kingston LACAC meetings as well as the records of many other committees that Dr. Angus served on over the years. There are scripts of the many drama productions, particularly radio plays, that she wrote and worked on, records of special events and particularly the various heritage projects she was involved with along with subject files and genealogical files that she used to support her work. Many of these files contain photographs. There is also a large series of photographs, particularly slides, of historic buildings. While these photographs are of buildings in many parts of Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, the vast majority of them are of Kingston buildings and scenes.
