The fonds consists of correspondence, working documents, drafts, minutes and other material relating to the planning and implementation of projects and events surrounding Queen's 175th Anniversary.
The fonds consists of architectural drawings. This material documents a small portion of the life of John Schreiber as a physical and landscape architect. It consists of a number of drawings, as well as the files containing specifications, proposed and final, used by John Schreiber in the design of two residences located in the Thousand Islands region of the province of Ontario, for patrons Mr. Robert Hewitt, and Mr. and Mrs. C. Vandendries. The two examples of his work provided here are tangible examples of how John Schreiber incorporated his ideas of style and landscape in order to blend these structures perfectly into the unique geography known as the Thousand Islands.
The fonds consists of video productions in a variety of formats (Umatic, VHS, created in-house by QTV for a variety of institutional clients and departments. Also includes slides of CORK 1975; visit by H.R.H. Queen Elizabeth II, 1976; Sailing Olympics off Portsmouth Harbour, 1976; Queen's University staff, 1970's. The fonds is predominantly comprised of photographs of Sunny Acres Nursery and members of the Paterson family. There is material and photographs from or about each immediate family member: James (father), Edith (mother), Helen (sister), Rowan (sister), and William. As the longest living member of the family William Paterson was the holder of the family archives.There is a small amount of material relating to horticulture and the business of the Nursery.
Fonds consists of Board of Trustees Finance Committee minutes (1965-1980); correspondence; and subject files in areas under the responsibility of the Vice-Principal Finance. Judging from the dates of the record, there are most likely records also from the Vice-Principal Administration position which had the financial responsibilities of the University prior to the formation of the Vice-Principal Finance.

Fonds consists of financial ledgers and invoices relating largely to the Long Lake Cheese Factory, built and operated by the Smith Family (Ira and Wendell, his son), plus a general store also operated by the Smith family.
The fonds includes The St. Lawrence Seaway Authority. Cote Ste. Catherine Lock Plans. 1956, Welland Ship Canal construction photos (1923) Phi Sigma Kappa Certificate of Initiation for Francis Stuart Lazier (1904). Four boxes of photographs and negatives, approximately 1705 photographs and 1198 Negatives. The negatives were left in the original wooden box which was constructed for them. The four photo albums contain photos from the “Iroquois Constructors Ltd., Toronto. Construction of the Robert H. Saunders-St. Lawrence Generating Station for the Hydro-Electric Power Commission of Ontario. Cornwall, Ontario. 1955-1959.” The photos in these albums were taken by P. Mickles, F.F. Newton and K.D. Morawski.
