The fonds consists of correspondence, militia papers, accounts, receipts and miscellaneous documents. The bulk of the correspondence is from when Stone was most active as a Militia officer. There are several general orders relating to such things as services rendered by Indigenous warriors, claims for pay and land grants. Among the miscellaneous papers is an indenture of election executed by Stone as returning officer for Leeds County.
The fonds consists of a letterbook relating to the repairs of ships, recruiting, supplies and fleet disposition. The letters were written from the H.M.S. Prince Regent and H.M.S. St. Lawrence. The section of the letter for 1817 to 1823 deals with the Kingston Naval Yard.

Of historical interest are an estimate of Lieutenant Parrot's losses in the American Revolution, statements of accounts with local businessmen, an inventory of farm and house, and agreements between a teacher and the parents of students
The fonds consists of correspondence, pamphlets and material relating to the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation, the Independent Labour Party of Canada and the link between the CCF and the labour movement.
Collection includes letter appointing John Power, architect for Kingston Post Office, 1856 Sept. 18, business post cards, genealogical information from Bible of Thomas Power, pocket photo album of Kingston [ca. 1880], photos of John Power, his home at 157 Queen Street, and an interior of his parlour, Joseph Power (son) and parlour, and the house of Charlotte Power Kent (wife of Noel; also included is, "Specifications for all Trades in Connection with Tables & Fittings etc.. in Room No. 26. Gordon Hall, Queen's College, Kingston", with letters from Power Son & Drever Architects about labratory fixtures for Gordon Hall.
The fonds consists of correspondence from George Pringle in England during 1857 and 1858 where he was taking further medical training to his mother and father in Cornwall and to his wife in Peterborough. There are also letters to Mrs. George Pringle from her father and mother and later from his children.
