Item is a negative of a streetcar. It was copied from a postcard - shows streetcar on Barrie looking north from King on private right of way. The conductor is Don Noble Armstrong as a teenager, before World War I. Note that the track is not doubled at this time as it was later and the car is a single tracked belt-line service.

The Kingston Street Railway Co. was incorporated in 1876 and began operating horse drawn cars in 1877. Car No.20 inauguraged electric street car service late in Sept.1893.
