Floor plans showing very complex arrangement. City directories indicate that Swift lived at 134 King Street E during 1889-93. By 1894 he had moved to 161 Street E. This suggests that he may have considered building, changed his mind in 1894, and moved into 161 King Street E. The scale and grandeur of Newlands' design seem disproportionate with the accomodations Swift chose, assuming that the numbering on the street has not changed.
