One of the last steamers on the Saint Lawrence River was the 'Kingston'. Built of steel in 1901 in Toronto, she was the third of her name and was retired in 1948. She was registered at 2925 tons, 288 feet long with a 36 foot beam and a moulded depth of 13 feet.
