A voiceover recorded by Boyle also explains what she is doing and gives advice to nurses watching the video.

There are textual records as well as a film in this file. The moving image material shows J.B. Salsberg in the course of a European trip in 1947, visiting a number of displaced persons camps. He is seen discussing with a group of needle trades workers the possibility of their immigration into Canada. Many of them are now employed in the garment industry on Spadina Avenue.
