This material was donated by Joan (nee Morton) Magee. These records were located in her farm house which she sold in 1992.
Scope and content
This collection contains material documenting various land transactions concerning Lot 4 in the 1st Concession in the Township of South Fredricksburgh, County of Lennox and Addington. This location was a family farm which was bought and sold a number of times over the hundred and fifty years represented in the records. The transactions reflect the dealings of the following families: McTagert; Thompson; Jenny; Sillmand; Close; Leech; Wright; and Morton.
