The fonds consists of family photographs, records and memorabilia, which reflect the activity of the family, particularly George Comer, in local businesses and associations such as the Canadian Navigation Company, the Masonic fraternal organization, Customs House and the Home Circle, an early school association. There are also a number of scrapbooks that not only reflect the activity of the family, but also account for events that occured in the local community. Of particular interest is the wide variety of photographs which illustrate the practices of a number of local photographic studios such as Marrison, Sheldon & Davis, Henderson, Snider and Richardson. There are also photographs which reflect certain family members interest in amateur photography. Included are images of Division street, City Park, and Richardson Pavillion.

Jennings, Donald Blaine
The fonds consists of both incoming and outgoing family correspondence predominantly between the Hurst sisters, Deirdre, Phyllis and Muriel (Murra), and their mother, Edith a Beckett Hurst. The letters detail both the personal and professional lives of these women early in their lives, focussing on the period before the sisters were married. The material provides rare insight into an artistic and cultural milieu as seen and experienced by independent women in the 1930's. The fonds also contains a number of photographs of Phyllis and Deirdre in particular, as well as a number of subject files pertaining to the Chekov Studio and Dartington School.

Mantle, Craig
Fonds consists of class notes/notebooks taken by Frank S. Young (Meds 1908) and his son F. Malcolm Young (Meds 1941) on various Queen's medical school courses such as pathology, bacteriology, preventative medicine, etc. It also includes laboratory reports and slides. In addition, it consists of the lecture notes and exams taken by F. Malcolm Young to become part of the Queen's University COTC (Canadian Officer Training Corps) in 1939-1940.
Young, Frank Malcolm
The fonds consists of correspondence; manuscripts, drafts and published copies; and, reviews and clippings. The material is predominantly reflective of the time that Stafford spent in Mexico and her various drafts and versions of writings that came out of those experiences. There are manuscripts for all of her published works as well as her major unpublished work about Mexico, variously titled Mexico, Mi Amour or Mexican Time. Of particular note is a file of correspondence with Jack McClelland in which Stafford discusses editorial projects as well as her own writing and publishing ambitions.
