Items are typed and translated transcriptions of "Decree including a regulation in favor of the inhabitants of New France," (5 Mar. 1648) and "Decree of March 27th, 1647, including regulations concerning the inhabitants of the country called Canada."
The fonds primarily consists of notes for Calvin's book, 'Queen's University at Kingston.' Also included are two letters, one in 1935 regarding the death of William Lawson Grant, and a second in 1948 regarding his book 'John MacNaughton - Essays and Addresses.'
Fonds consists of professional papers relating to his career as a teacher and research physicist and includes correspondence; lecture notes; subject files; and a copy of his "Report on a Visit to the General Electric Co. Reserach Laboratory, Schenectady, New York, May 1950", in relation to the establishment of a Synchrotron Lab, under the auspices of the Department of Physics, at Queen's University at Kingston.
This fonds consists of minutes from Departmental meetings; subject files; correspondence regarding the Institute of Public Administration Conference at Queen's in 1958; and photographs from a summer social event.
