Item is an electro-steel seated top half portrait engraving of William H. Prerscott Esq., American Historian, (b.1796-d.1859). Engraved by W. Greatbach off of an otignal piture, not named and published by Richard Bently, 8 New Barlington Street, London, 1847. "mounted" on a backing sheet almost like it was destined for a frame.
