Collection reflects Hawkins activities as the College Life Photographer and the images depict student activities, the student strike and various campus buildings at Queen's University. Of particular interest are photographs of the Tool Shed and Mining building and interior candid shots of the Student Memorial Union. Also includes images of Fort Henry prior to restoration.
Fonds consists of letters to Thomas Kirkpatrick from Quebec City and Montreal regarding land on Wolfe Island and Howe Island; his "King's Bench Docket" book (1828-1836).

Fonds consists of a copy of an essay entitled, "Who I am, and how and why I came to Queen's", written by Dr. Ross in 1906, while attending the School of Medicine.
Original manuscript diary of Dr. Thomas Robinson Dupuis' trip to Europe in the spring and summer of 1881. Of particular note are his many visits to hospitals and medical schools - witnessing curriculum, operating procedures, as well as sitting an exam for a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.
