Items are typed and translated transcriptions of "Decree including a regulation in favor of the inhabitants of New France," (5 Mar. 1648) and "Decree of March 27th, 1647, including regulations concerning the inhabitants of the country called Canada."
Collection consists of oaths signed by multiple individuals, relating to militia commissions, allegiance to the King and abjuration. Also includes oaths of office for appointment as Justices of the Peace.
Items are photographs cut from a photo album showing members of the 2nd Battalion, No. 2 Company, No. 8 Platoon that were commanded by Capt. George Taylor Richardson when he was killed in action during World War I.
