The fonds consists of photographs of Queen's University students in the early 1930's. The photographs were taken around campus and therefore reflect many buildings on campus, as well as in front of the houses occupied by the students - two such addresses being identified as 213 Albert Street and 632 Princess Street.
The fonds consist of records pertaining to membership, advertising of the lecture series as well as some of the papers presented, minutes of meetings, briefs and reports produced, memos and correspondence.
These albums contain albumen prints of: Kingston Mills and Locks; Rice Lake; Cobourg; Kingston; Tete du Point; Fort Henry; tennis courts; field hockey games; skiff sailing races; and railroad construction.
Fonds includes photographs of R. Keith Christiansen and his friends and family, various military and wartime photographs, boxing matches and a small amount of material pertaining to extramural courses at Queen's University; programmes relating to various Canadian Intercollegiate Athletic Union Boxing and Wrestling Championships.
The fonds is comprised of material donated by Cuthbertson in his activities as a Kingstonian, author and local historian. Some of it is material created by Cuthbertson such as the ten photographs of the damage caused by the ice storm in 1998 including shots of the interior of the University gymnasium where members of the general public were housed. Some of the material is research gathered by Cuthbertson such as the records and research he compiled in the writing of his small book on the Kingston Ponies.
The album contains photographs of Queen's campus and Kingston in, or around, 1915. Included are views of Grant Hall, Theological Hall, Ontario Hall, Science Rush (initiation), the Drafting Room, groups of Garfield Rogers friends and colleagues - including a shot of him and one of his wife, and a military parade down King Street near Market Square. The album has been dismantled and the photographs individually sleeved.
The album, which was copied in 2000, contains photographs of: the Grass/Ellerbeck farm house and barn on Hillview Road, Collins Bay; Sydenham High School (ca. 1900); the light house and goats on Brother's Island; and an early shot of the Kingston airport being constructed (1939).

Fonds consists of Queen's University memorabilia (1938-1943) belonging to Benjamin A. and Hudson Macmillan Campbell, including copies of 'The Oath of Allegiance of the Tenth, [and the Eleventh] Older Boys Parliament' (1930-1931); 'The Hallady Burial Grounds' Register (1812-1985); two albums containing photographs, taken by Elgin, Ontario resident, Cliff Pennock, of Elgin, Chaffeys Locks, and Jones Falls on the Rideau Canal System; photographs of Athens High School.
The fonds consists of three albums of photographs relating to the personal and private life of the Smith Family from around 1910 to 1938. The scope of the material varies from album to album. One album contains pictures of Cecil McKee as a young woman depicting her life in Toronto, including family portraits, Centre Island, Jarvis Street, and Bay Street. Also included in this album are family photographs from the cottage which may have been located in the Thousand Islands region. The second album is predominantly comprised of photographs taken in 1913 depicting the varied engineering experience of Gordon J. Smith. The album appears to illustrate an engineering expedition starting in Alberta and moving along the Yellowhead Trail into British Columbia. Included are photographs of Hinton, Edson, Entwistle, Edmonton, Thornton, Jasper, Fitzhugh, Moose Lake, the Fraser River, Tete Jaune Cache and Lake Helena. Of particular note are some detailed shots of Mt. Robson and the glaciers at its base. The third album is of a later date and shows photographs of the family during the 1930's and features John and Eleanor as children.
