The Geddes Snow Road Station fonds contains a series of yearly diaries, kept by Mr. Geddes from 1907 until 1966, that detail his life and the activities in and around the village of Snow Road Station, Frontenac County, Ontario. Towards the last years of his life, Hilda Geddes, his daughter, helped him keep his diaries; for this reason, the diaries actually record his death and events for a little time after his death. While the diaries form the bulk of these records there is also a series of business records that detail some of Mr. Geddes business activities at Snow Road Station. These include account books, a 'letter book' from the station and other business records.
The album contains photographs of Queen's campus and Kingston in, or around, 1915. Included are views of Grant Hall, Theological Hall, Ontario Hall, Science Rush (initiation), the Drafting Room, groups of Garfield Rogers friends and colleagues - including a shot of him and one of his wife, and a military parade down King Street near Market Square. The album has been dismantled and the photographs individually sleeved.
Fonds consists of correspondence from various authors, family members, and friends; diaries; notebooks; manuscripts, including "Dark Side of the Moon"; drafts of writings and reviews; watercolours. Most of the manuscript material is contained within a series of notebooks (1968-1976).
The fonds consists of administrative and financial records of the organization relating to issues of funding, grants, audits, financial statements, budgeting, distribution, subscription services, advertising and a small number of production files for various issues. The minutes from the meetings of both the Board of Directors and the Editorial Board are present, though the Editorial Board minutes span only one decade (1990's). The fonds includes a complete run of the magazine.
