This collection consists of memorabilia from Hickey's time at Queen's University during the 1940's. Some of the material is inserted in a scrapbook and some is loose. The collection includes dance cards and dinner menus for various social events such as the Dog Patch Drag, Bohemian Ball, Fall Brawl and Arts and Medicine Formals. Other ephemera includes shooting range targets, war aid materials, flyers and pamphlets regarding the University Centennial in 1941 and student government elections (AMS), intercollegiate debates, drama guild and glee club productions. There are also a small number of items which pertain to the town of Kingston such as theatre playbills and tickets, the programme for the Kingston Ice Follies and various taxi cards.

Correspondents include John Masefield, Lorne Pierce, Edwin John Pratt, Sir Charles G.D. Roberts and Duncan Campbell Scott. It also includes records from Queen's University Department of English [1925-1947].
The fonds consists of correspondence with W.D. Herridge concerning the New Democracy Movement, statements and addresses by W.D. Herridge, New Democracy platform, instructions regarding New Democracy assemblies, an address by G.H. Barr and news clippings.
Fonds consists of printed material related to the discovery and use of insulin, the Banting Institute and the Best Institute; notebook kept by Dr. Ettinger pertaining to pregnancy tests performed using the Aescheim- Zondek method, 1929-1931; typescript entitled, 'Survey of Facilities for Medical Research in Canada', 1939; correspondence, including letters to and from Dr. Frederick Banting; Queen's University related material; lecture and research notes; subject files; speeches and addresses; reports; photographs; and clippings.
Collection consists of a copy of "Beyond the Trenches: WWI Diary of G.F. Guest," edited by L.V. Guest; photographs of G.F. Guest, while a student at Queen's University at Kingston, and during his time with the Queen's No. 5 Stationary Hospital, and following its transfer to France, the Queen's No. 7 General Hospital.
Fonds consists of photographs of 12 blueprints and 6 ink drawings by Robert Findlay, architect, of Montreal, for the summer home of George Benson and family, Rabbit Island, Thousand Islands (1909); 1 blueprint for cabin by E.D.M. McIntosh, 1937; photographs of the Benson family, plus friends and scenes in the Thousand Islands; auction poster, land deed, and three Visitor's Books relating to (Mississagua) Rabbit Island.
