The fonds consists of records that reveal and document the many activities of the artist such as: the creation, mounting and exhibition of artworks; teaching; participation within local and national associations and groups such as PEN Canada and CARFAC, as well as local artist-run centres and organizations; residencies undertaken; texts written and published; and honours and awards received. Includes: correspondence; research materials; working and prepatory material for artworks in various media formats; transcripts; translations; journals and agendas; speeches and conference papers; drafts, manuscripts and working correspondence regarding published texts; and teaching notes and material. The fonds has been arranged in the following series: Projects; Teaching activities; Artist in the Community; and Personal activities.

The fonds consists of material created and received by the Association over fifty years of operation, from 1919 to 1970. The material reflects the Association's acitivites regarding mainy issues important to the clothing industry at that time, such as standards, wage scales and comparative wages, costing of materials, scales of production, incorporated rates, cost of living, and registered complaints. It also illustrates the Association's relationship with other organizations, in particular the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America. The fonds is comprised of correspondence, reference and research material about the industry, industrial standards, clippings, newsletters, as well as material supplied by members regarding their own enterprises.

The fonds consists of records documenting Mazo de la Roche's family and professional life, predominantly from 1927 to 1960, though some of the material, in particular the photographs, are from her childhood. The fonds has been divided into the following series: correspondence - mainly with her children; financial records - ranging from daily living expenses to royalties and investments; miscellaneous; photographs; writings - articles, reviews and novels; and, scrapbooks - press clippings pertaining to Mazo or her work from around the world.

The fonds consists of correspondence, news clippings, minutes, reports, bids, specifications and drawings relating to collapse and rebuilding of Quebec Bridge. There are also plans and photo albums of the construction of the Quebec Bridge, including the 1916 collapse of the central span, and a small scrapbook containing material on the railroad bridge disaster at Ashtabula, Ohio, 1876 Dec. 29.

Fonds consists of the Doomsday book of the 6th Field Company Canadian Engineers. The book relates information regarding the unit based on their semi-regular) annual reunions. The minutes of those reunion meetings, menus, clippings, signatures of attendees as well as a small number of photographs of members during the war, as well after, are all bound into the book. While the book was purchased and its assemblage began in 1929, there are some documents that predate that year that are included.
