Collection of various family papers from the Wardrope and Dyde family. Includes 3 type family "reminiscences" only two of which are dated (1903, 1924). Material includes information about arriving in Canada, family relationships and moves between cities and towns. One, dated 1903, is from Rev. S. Men's Clothing Manufacturers Association of Ontario fonds
The fonds consists of material created and received by the Association over fifty years of operation, from 1919 to 1970. The material reflects the Association's acitivites regarding mainy issues important to the clothing industry at that time, such as standards, wage scales and comparative wages, costing of materials, scales of production, incorporated rates, cost of living, and registered complaints. It also illustrates the Association's relationship with other organizations, in particular the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America. The fonds is comprised of correspondence, reference and research material about the industry, industrial standards, clippings, newsletters, as well as material supplied by members regarding their own enterprises.

The fonds consists of correspondence, news clippings, minutes, reports, bids, specifications and drawings relating to collapse and rebuilding of Quebec Bridge. There are also plans and photo albums of the construction of the Quebec Bridge, including the 1916 collapse of the central span, and a small scrapbook containing material on the railroad bridge disaster at Ashtabula, Ohio, 1876 Dec. 29.

Fonds consists of the Doomsday book of the 6th Field Company Canadian Engineers. The book relates information regarding the unit based on their semi-regular) annual reunions. The minutes of those reunion meetings, menus, clippings, signatures of attendees as well as a small number of photographs of members during the war, as well after, are all bound into the book. While the book was purchased and its assemblage began in 1929, there are some documents that predate that year that are included.
