This collection is comprised of medals gathered from a number of various sources (many unknown). A number of the medals are those which were awarded by Queen's University for proficiency and/or excellence in a given area (Classics, Surgery, History, etc.). Many of these medals were made by Wyon of London.

Most of the originals are held in the UK at the Cambridge University Library and further copies reside at the John Innes Centre. They provided primary materials for "Treasure Your Exceptions.
