The fonds is comprised of records that reflect the research and writing process of Merilyn Simonds in her activity as a writer of a variety of publications over a 30 year period. The records illustrate Simonds process, method and practice for writing newspaper articles, periodicals, non-fiction guides, literary non-fiction and fiction. The fonds has been arranged in the following series: Adminstrative files; Journalism; Projects; and Audio Visual.
The fonds consists of correspondence regarding his works and research, drafts of his writings, manuscripts of books and photographs. Includes papers of his mother, Flora Macdonald Denison, and his wives, Muriel (Goggin) Denison and Lisa (Andrews) Denison, as well as his father-in-law David James Goggin.
Fonds consists of a notebook, 'Annual Field Day ' programme, and a copy 'The Lantern', pertianing to M.L. Entwhistle's time as a student at Coberg Collegiate Institute, plus a photograph of the CCI staff (1918-1919); 'Students' Handbooks & Directories' of the Queen's Summer School Association, and a Convocation programme (26 November 1926).
Fonds consists of course material and lecture notes for the courses Dr. Daub taught at Queen's; research files and drafts of "Gael Force" and "Getting Down to Business"; other writings both scholastic and personal including his diaries from 1964-1990; and the forecasting data sets Daub used for his research.
Fonds consists of records relating to the development of Block D by Kingston 2000, arranged as exhibits for use in a court case against the City of Kingston and other parties. Includes a binder and diskettes of the narrative of the failed development, as well as news clippings and Council meeting videos related to Block D.
