This collection is comprised of medals gathered from a number of various sources (many unknown). A number of the medals are those which were awarded by Queen's University for proficiency and/or excellence in a given area (Classics, Surgery, History, etc.). Many of these medals were made by Wyon of London.
Fonds consists of research material gathered together before, and during, the writing of her book, "Setting the agenda : Jean Royce and the shaping of Queen's University".
