Personal papers of Maynard Gertler. Mainly pertaining to his participation in a variety of social justice groups such as Amnesty International, PEN International, the Thoreau Society, Group of 78, Pugwash, Peace Now, and the International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms. There is also material reflecting Gertler's letter writing and participation on issues of National Unity in Canada during various French/English debates (referendums, language laws, etc). Also included is some household subject files and personal correspondence.

The fonds consists of records documenting Mazo de la Roche's family and professional life, predominantly from 1927 to 1960, though some of the material, in particular the photographs, are from her childhood. The fonds has been divided into the following series: correspondence - mainly with her children; financial records - ranging from daily living expenses to royalties and investments; miscellaneous; photographs; writings - articles, reviews and novels; and, scrapbooks - press clippings pertaining to Mazo or her work from around the world.

McCallum land documents collection
The collection consists of five documents related to the McCallum family in the Charlottenburgh area of Glengarry County in Ontario, Canada. Included are an Indian Land Sale Grant to Archibald McCallum in Charlottenburgh (1860), an indenture between Donald McMartin and his wife, and Peter McCallum for Lots 4 and 5, Indian Reservation, Charlottenburgh (1868), the will of Peter McCallum (1881), an indenture between Archibald McCallum and John Peter McCallum (1887) and an indenture between James E. McIntosh and John P. McCallum for a right of way on Lot 3, Concession 7 in the Indian Reservation lands of Charlottenburgh (1904)

Fonds consists of albums containing photographs of Jack McClelland, his wife and children; extended family members and groups; Kingston and area; Queen's University at Kingston; the fire at Kingston Hall, Queen's University; Royal Military College, Kingston; the German cannon in Frontenac Park; the 'Waubic' belonging to the Rockport Navigation Company and operating out of Cape Vincent, New York; the Rideau Canal; Collins Bay; Hillcrest; the Thousand Islands; Murney Tower; the (WCTU) Lion in Richardson Park, Kingston; Sir John A. Macdonald statue in City Park, Kingston; Frontenac County Court House Fountain; Barrie Collegiate; and a trip to Europe (1924). Includes pictures on board the S.S. Marburn, Belfast, Burn's Cottage, Windermere, Ayr, Alloway, Glasgow, Oxford, London, Salisbury, English Lake District, Stonehenge, Edinburgh, The Trossachs, Stirling, Roslin, Abbotsford, Drysburgh Abbey, Melrose Abbey, Stratford-on-Avon, Southhampton, Versailles, Lille, Brussels, Geneva, and Paris. Of particular note is a photograph of Ignacy Jan Paderewski leaving the League of Nations in Geneva. Also included are old engineering plans, maps and surveys that were collected/acquired by Jack McClelland who was City Engineer for the City of Kingston.
