The fonds consists of records documenting Mazo de la Roche's family and professional life, predominantly from 1927 to 1960, though some of the material, in particular the photographs, are from her childhood. The fonds has been divided into the following series: correspondence - mainly with her children; financial records - ranging from daily living expenses to royalties and investments; miscellaneous; photographs; writings - articles, reviews and novels; and, scrapbooks - press clippings pertaining to Mazo or her work from around the world.

The collection consists of five documents related to the McCallum family in the Charlottenburgh area of Glengarry County in Ontario, Canada. Included are an Indian Land Sale Grant to Archibald McCallum in Charlottenburgh (1860), an indenture between Donald McMartin and his wife, and Peter McCallum for Lots 4 and 5, Indian Reservation, Charlottenburgh (1868), the will of Peter McCallum (1881), an indenture between Archibald McCallum and John Peter McCallum (1887) and an indenture between James E. McIntosh and John P. McCallum for a right of way on Lot 3, Concession 7 in the Indian Reservation lands of Charlottenburgh (1904)

Of particular note is a photograph of Ignacy Jan Paderewski leaving the League of Nations in Geneva. Also included are old engineering plans, maps and surveys that were collected/acquired by Jack McClelland who was City Engineer for the City of Kingston. Collection consists of biographical information compiled on Peter Campbell McGregor, B.A. 1866, LL.D. 1901 (1842-1916); and his daughters Annie Katherine McGregor, B.A. 1903 (1880-1963), and Grace Campbell McGregor, BA. 1903 (1882-1963), all of whom graduated from Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario; two lapel pins.

Fonds consists of correspondence, to and from Maxwell McIlquham, his parents, siblings, friends, and military authorities from his time as a student at Queen's University at Kingston, to his tragic death on the battlefield in France, during World War One.

This collection consists of copies of a number of albumen prints, possibly taken by Thomas Bartley Tracy, a member of the International Boundary Commission, durings its survey of the 49th parallel west of Lake of the Woods. Includes many images of Red River and the surrounding district (ca.1872-1873); correspondence from the Boundary Commission and other sources relating to the photographs (ca.1900-1940); genealogical material pertaining to the Tracy and Boyd families.

The fonds consists of correspondence, legal documents, war medals, photographs, two copies of the Holy Bible and a certificate signed by Winston Churchill with reference to the fact that Lt. R.C. McIntyre,16th Br., C.E.F., was mentioned in a dispatch from Field Marshall Sir Douglas Haig.
