Fonds consists of a programme and poster relating to the exhibition entitled, "A Master in Our Midst: Grant Macdonald's Kingston Portraits", held at the Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston; a DVD, entitled "A Master in Our Midst: Grant Macdonald", produced to accompany the exhibit.
Fonds consists of the text and illustrations (photographs) from a University of the Air tv series episode "Art in Revolution: Three Case Studies" [196-], a letter written by Queen's University historians regarding the Quebec referendum in 1980, and sound recordings from a Royal Society of Canada colloquium in memory of George Whalley "Symbols in Life and Art" with a program brochure.
The fonds consists of correspondence and news clippings mainly concerning H.J. Symington's retirement as president of Trans-Canada Air Lines, as a director of Canadian National Railways and as Chairman of the Board of Price Brothers and Company Limited. Also includes correspondence from Symington to Fay Christie during their courtship (1908-1910), a press release about Symington handwritten by Louis St-Laurent, and a certificate signed by King George VI. The proceedings and arrangements for the funeral of William Lyon Mackenzie King and lifetime gold passes for CN Rail and Trans-Canada Air Lines are also included. This fonds contains the following series: Correspondence (1908-1965), Subject Files (1925-1965), and Photographs (1948-1962).
The collection consists of estate files from the Upper Canada Probate and Surrogate Courts, as well as assorted deeds, wills and registers for the counties of Frontenac, Dundas, Hastings, Prescott, Stormont, Leeds and Grenville and Lennow and Addington.
