The fonds consists of microfilm of the proceedings of the annual business meetings of the advisory council. Includes reports from the president, Lester B. Pearson and Joseph E. Smallwood. In addition there are the reports of the Finance Constitution, Resolution, Credentials and Organization Committees as well as various provincial and political associations.The textual consists of press releases, pamphlets, speeches and memoranda issued by the leadership candidates at the Liberal leadership convention. Includes material relating to the organization of the campaign of Paul Martin.
This collection of material was brought together and held by the Cooke family over a number of generations. It appears to include material from both Lieutenant John Cooke and Lieutenant Duncan Ramsey Kerr Cooke. There are three items in the collection: one holographic journal; one published book; and a holographic compendium of extracts.
