Fonds consists of approximately 20,000 negatives documenting events and people in Kingston and district during the period from the late 1940's to the early 1960's. The fonds has very large sections devoted to Queen's University, Canadian Industries Limited, Fort Henry, and military establishments in Kingston. Also many significant national and international new events are covered.

The fonds is comprised of family papers. Mrs. Pierce gathered together correspondence and memorabilia of the whole family and have been arranged into the following series: correspondence (1909-1955); diary; research notes and memoranda; photographs; news clippings; and miscellaneous.

Proceedings of an Indian Council held at the Mohawk Village in the Bay of Quinte (Tyendinaga) from the 2nd to the 10th of September 1800 on the differences existing among the Indians of the Village. Indiviudals present include: Captain Claus, Acting Departmental Superintendent General; Lieut. Givens, Agent - Indian Affairs; Lieut. McQueen, Queens Rangers; Mr. David Price, Interpreter; Mr. Nathaniel Lines, Interpreter; Mr. Ferguson (from Kingston); P. Selby, Officer - Indian Affairs; Lt. Fortier; Captain John Deserontyon; Captain Isaac (Brant?). This does not seem to be a verbatim transcription, but the proceedings as would be reflected in minutes.

Fonds consist of aerial photographs taken by Lumbers Studio (Belleville) of Polson Park and Reddendale (1970), photographs of ice storm damage in Reddendale, and a real estate agents letter showing houses in Kingston (1966).

Fonds consists of an album of photographs showing Queen's University at Kingston, its buildings and students, plus geology class expeditions; the community of Kingston and its environs, including Kingston Mills; Upstate New York, including Lake Champlain; and other locations in Western Canada and the western United States, including California.

The collection consists of recordings of Canadian writers and poets, produced by the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education as the series "Canadian Writers on Tape" and "Canadian Poets on Tape." The authors represented include Al Purdy, Morley Callaghan, Margaret Laurence, Earle Birney, Mordecai Richler, among others.

Fonds consists of letters home while a student at Queen's University; Queen's memorabilia; and Queen's recruiting material in "The Argus" (yearbook of the Sault Ste. Marie Collegiate Institute, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario); and Queen's memorabilia. Of particular note is a letter from Jean Royce dissuading Nasi from pursuing a degree in Engineering.

Fonds consists of copies of the Tweedsmuir History books, includes photographs and clippings, relating to Wolfe Island, Ontario.

Fonds consists of correspondence largely relating to letters of reference and Queen's University at Kingston.

One name-indexed volume, of which 262 pages are completed, pertaining to debentures and credits in the accounts of individuals and companies involved in the construction to the Chats canal.
