The fonds consists of an Order book relates to the construction of the Rideau Canal at Isthmus, as well as meteorological observations taken at Kingston, 1853-1857, diary of operations at Murray [Murney] Redoubt, 1846, and diary of work performed at Kingston, 1847.
Letter to an unnkown recipient, regarding information on a 1596 voyage of exploration to the Frozen [Arctic] Ocean in search of the Northwest Passage. Also contains research notes on other voyages to the Indian Ocean, etc. in the 16th century.
