The collection consists of pictures taken by an unknown photographer, or photographers, in Kingston and the surrounding area, around the turn of the twentieth century. The photos show local landmarks such as Kingston City Hall, Kingston homes, Kingston Mills, Martello Towers and Jones Falls. Also included are photographs of the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, men, horses and guns. Steam vessels such as the Rideau Queen, the Toronto and even pleasure sail boats, ice boats and quite a number of pictures of canoes and canoeists are included along with pictures taken at or near the Kingston Yacht Club. There are many pictures of as yet unidentified individuals in various poses including family scenes, picnics and fishermen. Another sizable lot of pictures were taken away from Kingston at various sites that have yet to be identified. One series were shot in what looks like a summer resort area and several others are of cities or a city yet to be identified.

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, research memos, media releases, conference papers, constituency files, scrapbooks and publications of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (C.C.F.) and New Democratic Party of Ontario. Included are study papers and discussion papers relating to the Founding Convention of the New Democratic Party of Ontario, the National New Democratic Party Convention of 1969, as well as publicity for the party and for party candidates. Graphic material includes photographs of Party candidates, as well as training and promotional films.

Connell portrait; material relating to the Sesquicentennial celebrations of the School, including invitations; a copy of "Queen's University School of Medicine: A Scrapbook of Memories, 1954-2004, An Historical Tribute to the Sesquicentennial" compiled by Dr. Donald B. Jennings; clippings; and a CD-ROM capturing the web pages entitled "Celebrating the ... Past Present Future"; negatives of graduating classes (1935-1982); material relating to the life and work of Dr. Leslie David Livingstone among the Inuit in the 1920s and 1930s; printed material produced by the School; letter about the death of Professor Fife Fowler, Dean of the Faculty, and three tickets about different sessions Dr. Fowler had previously attended.

Fonds comprises nine volumes of Robert Galway’s series, “People, Places, People, and Pilots,” a history of bush-plane aviation and aviation generally in Ontario (1,2,3,4,6,7,10,14,15); digital and analogue photographs and negatives by or of pilot Roy Maxwell covering the 1929 Treaty 9 Adhesion trip with Herbert Nathaniel Awrey from the Indian Affairs Department representing Federal government and Walter Cain, Deputy Minister of Lands and Forests representing Ontario; and includes the manuscript memoirs of bush-plane pilot H. H. (Holly) Parsons with accompanying images from the Treaty 9 area + CD-Rom. Also includes USB thumb drive of digitized Roy Maxwell and Holly Parson images and Robert Galway's research.
