The material is invaluable for his correspondence with many Canadian and American scholars. The files of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada and Canadian Political Science Association are important as documentation of the activities of these two organizations. Many aspects of Professor Hodgetts' special projects (including the Royal Commission on Financial Management and Accountability) are documented by the extensive files relating to these activities. Included in these files are the drafts and research material for several of his books.
