The collection consists of annotated typescripts surrounding the commemoration of Col. Alexander Macphail, as well as correspondence and clippings about Prof. Macphail.
Collection consists of playbills from theatrical productions in Great Britain, including "Woodcock's Little Game" at Government House (1879), "Whiteoaks" by Mazo de le Roche at The Playhouse (ca. 1928), a reproduction of a ticket and playbill from M'lle Jenny Lind's First Grand Concert in 1851 (ca. 1975), and a Grand Opera House Programme from Toronto (1894).
The collection was brought together from several family branches related to the Griers, particularly from that of the Cartwright family branch. The collection is comprised of additional material from the Addison, Butler, Farrell-Purnell, Matheson, Stevenson, Stewart,and Dobbs families. Included in the collection are correspondence, journals, photographs, accounts and mementos of Brigadier-General George Strachan Cartwright, as well as photographs and a commonplace book of Anne Leman Purnell and Harriet Dobbs Cartwright. Among the photographs are images of Aden, Yemen, Delhi, India and Niagara Falls from the 1890s.

Collection consists of the minute book of the Class of Arts 1896 (1892-1896) including a transcript of the minutes. In addtion, there is correspondence and reports, including a history of the Class of Arts 1896. The original minute book, along with the correspondence and reports, was found in a wooden box that was specifically made to house the minutes. The wooden box is included in this collection.
C ollection consists of correspondence; subject files including promotional material, and dance cards; photographs of various family members, the orchestra, and two female vocalists; and a scrapbook containing clippings and photographs relating largely to Jack Telgmann and members of his orchestra.

Fonds consists of team photos of various Kingston and area baseball and hockey champions; includes photographs of the Kingston Ponies, the Red Indian Hockey Club, one action photo of Queen's football team, ca. 1928, and three miscellaneous photographs of a Kingston barbershop and the Grocers' and Butchers' Parade (1934).

Collection of letters from the library of Sir Arthur Doughty, including letters from Sir James Kempt, Lord Dufferin, Lord Durham and E.A. Meredith. Includes several documents relating to Halifax, N.S. Letters to and from Henry Youle Hind, artist and geologist. Samples of Upper Canadian currency, including a note from the Accommodation Bank in Kingston, and Confederate currency from the American Civil War, with a fragment of the Rebel Flag flown over Richmond, VA.

The collection consists of correspondence, memos, pamphlets and clippings relating to the operations and promotion of the International Hockey Hall of Fame in Kingston, Ontario, as well as photographs of hockey players, some of which are signed. Also included are the constitution and by-laws, letterhead, drafts of articles and speeches, and financial information for the IHHOF.

The fonds consists of British War Office's forms for Commitment to Military Prison, photographs taken by an unknown photographer of sights and scenes in Kingston and area and newspaper clippings relating to various events in Kingston and district that have some historical significance. There are also files and photographs relating to the Loyal Orange Order in Kingston, a Kingston Christmas parade, the Foucault Pendulum at Queen's, a catalogue of St. Andrew's Church members in 1981 and three portraits of an unidentified woman, taken by C.H. Boyes of Kingston.
