The fonds consists of manuscripts and research material used in a talk that Elizabeth Sinclair gave on the history of the village of Collins Bay to the Kingston Historical Society. There are two notebooks, one of which is probably a rough draft and the other the text for her talk to the Historical Society. There is also a typewritten manuscript that probably went to the editor of "Historic Kingston". Finally, there are a number of notes and papers used by Mrs. Sinclair when preparing her paper. These include notes on land ownership in the area, notes on the book, The Baptists in Upper Canada, a one page history of the village by M.H. Grass, dated 1916 and a history of the Jubilee Woman's Institute.
Fonds consists of material created and accumulated by Mrs. Harrison in her pursuit of becoming a published author, portrait painter, and art conservator over a span of fifty years. There is also material from her personal and family life, in particular a 14 year correspondence with her daughter. The fonds includes the following series: Correspondence; Subject files; Prose; Printed material; and Art works.
The fonds consists of correspondence; manuscripts, drafts and published copies; and, reviews and clippings. The material is predominantly reflective of the time that Stafford spent in Mexico and her various drafts and versions of writings that came out of those experiences. There are manuscripts for all of her published works as well as her major unpublished work about Mexico, variously titled Mexico, Mi Amour or Mexican Time. Of particular note is a file of correspondence with Jack McClelland in which Stafford discusses editorial projects as well as her own writing and publishing ambitions.
The fonds consists of one photo album containing photographs of Elsie Smith, Sir Sandford Fleming (her uncle), Thomas and Laura Critchley, among others. Also includes photos of the Ottawa fire, Riviere du Loup, Murray Bay and a trip to Sterling and York.
