Fonds consists of records relating to the 10th Field Company, Canadian Engineers, including mimeographed confidential and secret documents; photographs; instructions; maps; orders; and a ration book. In addition, there are seven notebooks for courses at Queen's University and at high school. There is also a pamphlet dealing with a survey of anti-tank mine counter-measures.

Fonds consists of correspondence; advertising and promotional material; financial and sales records; printing costs; historical data; research material including booklets, pamphlets, clippings, photographs, and postcards relating to various Kinsgton landmarks such as Fort Henry, Alwington House, the first provincial legislature located on Queen Street, 171 Wellington Street (Mr. Collard's Building, the location of Sir John A. Macdonald's first law office in Kingston), pertaining to the design, publication, and distribution of the "Historical Map of Kingston" (1948).

Much of the personal material involves finances and includes papers relating to investments, loans, insurance and taxes; correspondence; speeches and articles by Arthur Meighen; scrapbooks, clippings,and memorabilia relating to both Arthur Meighen, his wife, Isabel J. (Cox).

Fonds consists of subject files; files relating to individuals he has known and interviewed; research files relating to his publications; photographs, articles in the form of by-lines in various newspapers he has worked or free-lanced for; oral and video interviews with such people as Jimmy and Billy Carter, Gerald Ford, John Kenneth Galbraith, Walter Mondale, Brian Mulroney, Bob Rae, Robbie Robertson, Robert Stanfield, and John Turner; a CD of the "Fifth Colloquium on the Legal Profession", sponsored by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and held at Queen's University at Kingston (15 October 2005).

Fonds consists of correspondence, manuscripts, diaries, speeches, lectures, research notes, writings, published works, subject files, photographs and material related to organizations to which Lower belonged. Literary files from the Executors of the estate of A.R.M. Lower which include unpublished articles. Also included is an audio tape recorded in Kingston, Ont., April 13, 1971 which is a discussion of recent Canadian history, as well as Dr. Lower's views as expressed in the book Canadians in the Making. Dr. Lower also answers various questions concerning his philosophy of history as it relates to his philosophy of life.
