The fonds is comprised of material donated by Cuthbertson in his activities as a Kingstonian, author and local historian. Some of it is material created by Cuthbertson such as the ten photographs of the damage caused by the ice storm in 1998 including shots of the interior of the University gymnasium where members of the general public were housed. Some of the material is research gathered by Cuthbertson such as the records and research he compiled in the writing of his small book on the Kingston Ponies.
