Part of Roberta Hamilton fonds
Writer, Professor of Sociology and co-ordinator, woman's studies program, Dr. Hamilton, explores the development and nature of misogyny. Side One: Dr. Hamilton offers a psychoanalytic interpretation of its existence, and speculates on why it is so wide spread and accepted. She discusses how it affects our society in such areas as relations between the sexes, the effect on women of different classes, nations and races, and the peace movement. She advises self-reflection, informed observation, and an evaluation of one's attitudes as a means of dealing with the phenomenon. Side Two: blank.
