The fonds consists of correspondence regarding political and judicial matters including the Paris Peace Conference, 1919, the disarmament conference of 1921, and correspondence between the Governor General and the Colonial Office, referred to Borden for his information and papers of the Canadian delegation to the Paris Peace Conference consisting of memoranda and reports on topics discussed at the conference, prepared fpr use within the Imperial War Cabinet and by the British Empie delegation. Also included are notes, memoranda, lectures, speeches, clippings, reports, addresses, diplomas, memoir notes, family papers, and diaries.

The fonds consists of correspondence, diaries and photographs from the period of Dunsmore's World War I service (1915-1919), and the WWI diaries of his brother-in-law Clarence Voaden (1917-1918). It also includes various writings, correspondence, lectures and addresses from his time of service on the Board of Trustees, and minutes and reports from the Queen's University Campus Planning committee as he also served on that committee for almost twenty years.

Of particular note are his many visits to hospitals and medical schools - witnessing curriculum, operating procedures, as well as sitting an exam for a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Thousand Islands travel diary

Diary of a young woman touring the Thousand Islands for the month of August 1883 starting in Hartford, Connecticut on August 1st, 1883 and ending in Montreal on September 1st, 1883. The author spends much of the diary remarking on the beauty of the scenery, the quality of the food and variations in the weather. She recounts day excursions on both American and Canadian islands and towns and mentions Clayton, Alexandria Bay, Gananoque, Brown's Bay, Hay's Island, Whitney Point, Guernsey Point, and Stave, Bluff and Skinner islands. She is traveling with the Redfield family (Mr. and Mrs. Redfield and their children George and Henry) and the "Professor". They encounter a Dr. Norris who is known to the family. When they arrive in Montreal they stay at the Windsor Hotel, which is greatly admired.

There is an additional three page entry at the end of the diary describing a trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire in September of 1885.

The fonds consists of correspondence, writings, manuscripts, diaries, notebooks, sketchbooks, photographs, charts, drawings, and maps. It is a record of Wynne-Edwards' professional life as an biologist and academic from his school days in Leeds to his death in Aberdeen. The greatest amount of this material reflects Wynne-Edwards professional life, however, there is some personal material in this fonds. The correspondence covers a wide variety of topics including views on Wynne-Edwards thesis about animal dispersion. The subject files include material on the Nature Conservancy, the Red Grouse Project, research topics and the like. There is also a large collection of 35mm slides that cover the Wynne-Edwards post Second World War journeys, in particular his two trips to Baffin Island in the 1950's.
