In 1994, Queen's Archives accessioned approximately 300 Queen's football game films dating from the late 1940' s to the 1970'S, which had been in the possession of Chuck Tindall, son of Frank. From 1994 to 1997 (the last group of over 100 films comlng llin ,July 1997) approximately 200 other "game films and some audio tapes have been added to this col:ection.
Scope and content
The films depict scenes from the games of the Queen's football teams which have been spliced and edited for training purposes. There are also a number of basketball game films in the series. Games in their entirety are not represented.
