George Bernard Shaw was born in Dublin, Ireland on 26th July, 1856. A noted playwright, drama critic and socialist, Shaw was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1925. A few of his well-known plays include, "Arms and the Man" (1898), "The Doctor's Dilemma" (1906), and "Pygmalion" (1913). Shaw died on 2nd November, 1950.
